Chicken Noodle: “The Impasta”

"Be souped up, not cooped up."

That means be the best version of yourself and don’t hide who you truly are.

For me, it’s about being authentic—staying true to myself. It's about not being a false version of me.

After all, what do you call a fake noodle?

An Impasta!

Growing up, I avoided standing out. I didn’t want to draw attention to myself, so I held back. I even put myself down to stay small.

I told myself I wasn't special. I didn't have anything to offer. And I wasn't worthy of praise.

But I wanted to help others.

I just thought people who helped others were like superheroes with something special. And that just wasn't me.

But over time, I learned an important truth: to help others be their best, I need to be my best. It took me a while to realize that.

I thought holding myself back was how I practiced humility.

I thought I needed to shrink to make others feel big. And that was how I assumed I was helping people. By being less, I empowered others to be more.

But then I came across a quote that changed my perspective:

"Humility is not thinking less of yourself; it’s thinking of yourself less."

I found it in a book called The Ideal Team Player, and it stuck with me. That quote taught me that there's confidence and power within me. It taught me thinking myself powerful doesn't take away power from other people. It means embracing your true self without letting fear or doubt hold you back.

Since then, I’ve been learning to overcome self-doubt and let my true self shine. I’m still a work in progress, but I’m growing stronger every day.

If you need a little reminder to embrace your authentic self and stop holding back, Chicken Noodle—aka "The Impasta"—might be the perfect companion.

Consider adopting this reminder or gifting it to someone else today. :)
